Government support for adoptive parents

State support for families who have adopted children is regulated by the following normative acts:

Labor Code of the Rebublic of Belarus of July 26, 1999 No. 278-Z
Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Pension Provision" dated April 17, 1992 No. 1596-XII
Regulations on the procedure and conditions of appointment, financing (transfer), disposal of family capital funds, approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of February 24, 2015 No. 12
The list of administrative procedures carried out by state bodies and other organizations on the applications of citizens, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of April 26, 2010 No. 200 "On administrative procedures carried out by state bodies and other organizations on the applications of citizens"
Instruction on the procedure for issuing and issuing certificates of incapacity for work and certificates of temporary disability, approved by the Resolution of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus of January, 4, 2018 No. 1/1

Information on the assignment of benefits (childbirth allowance; allowance for children over 3 years of age from certain categories of families; allowance for a child infected with HIV; assignment of maternity benefit; assignment of temporary disability benefit; allowance for caring for a child under 3 years of age; allowance for caring for a disabled child under the age of 18 years), pensions (pension on the occasion of loss of breadwinner) and other social payments (assignment of maternity benefits; state targeted social assistance in the form of monthly and (or) one-time social benefits; state targeted social assistance in the form of providing food to children of the first two years of life; state targeted social assistance in the form of social benefits to reimburse the costs of purchasing diapers) can be found at Social protection website of the Republic of Belarus in the section "Benefits, pensions and other social payments"http://psz.gov.by/#/posobiya.
